Innovation
How many times have naturalists, but also entrepreneurs, commercial offìces, creative workers felt the strong urge to provide adequate colors to the gray and drab objects we use in our daily activities, to make them compatible with our growing desire for liveliness and naturalness.
Until very recently, this "dream" was destined to remain in fantasy land, because printing or painting means were dramatically conditioned by object's shapes and/or high costs.
With traditional printing or painting means, most ordinary objects were destined to retain the color they were originally manufactured in, or to be painted with drab, uniform colors, almost invariably unnatural-looking.
Technology has come to the aid of nature, with the revolutionary sublimatic transfer technique. |
